This Incab Control package is perfect in vehicles that have been fitted out with Onboard Air such as a compressor / tank set-up OR a compressor with an extra port
Description
The first thing you’ll notice with this package is that unlike other BOSS Incab Control Kits there is no compressor or air tank
It does however have an extra solenoid valve, designed to run off your existing tank
Control airbag pressure from within the cab of your vehicle with this simple to use two button Incab Control Kit
On our standard Load Assist Kits air pressure is operated via two supplied Schrader valves (like tyre valves)
To achieve the best handling under load it’s important to maintain the correct pressure in the airbags Vs the weight being carried.
When you load up the vehicle and the rear sinks, you will introduce sufficient air to bring the vehicle back to its correct stance
If you want the convenience of adjusting air pressure without having to get out of the vehicle and use an external source such as a remote compressor or popping into a garage then this will be ideal
Use the Up/Down LED buttons to adjust the pressure
The pressure in each bag will present on the dual digital gauge
So when you load the vehicle, drop the tools off, hook up the trailer, boat or caravan you can adjust on the go and maintain that ‘sweet spot’
INSTALLATION
From your existing air source, the air line will first run to a solenoid valve which is closed. After this the line will run into a ‘Y’ valve splitting off to individual sides via the other two solenoid valves (used as dump valves). Wiring is easily popped through into the cab area where the dual digital gauge and actuating LED buttons are installed. At the back simply ‘T’ into the air line between the airbags and Schrader valves
This Incab Control Kit comes with all componentry required for installation including concise written instructions and a simplistic diagram
OTHER
There is a three button option should you need to run different pressures either side
This option would typically be used when there are vast weight differences from one side to the other, or to help level the back when parked on a slope for example
