Description

The principle of Airbag suspension remains constant across most all BOSS Load Assist Kits, the bag is installed between the chassis and axle, typically in the bump-stop space.

Bag inflation is via two supplied Schrader valves, unless upgrading to a BOSS Incab Control.

BOSS Load Assist Kits are made specific to vehicle make & model and considerable time has been invested in design.

Some brackets are Off-Set or side specific to ensure clearance from other components such as existing suspension, tyres, exhausts, support brackets and brake lines.

Always check the instructions and pay attention to bracket orientation and clearances.

A BOSS Load Assist Kit is straight forward to install using only basic hand tools, and in most cases be installed within a couple of hours.

Once installed always maintain a minimum 3-5psi pressure in the bags.

When weight loaded, a typical pressure range for a Ute would be 10-40psi.

Maintaining the correct air pressure will ensure that you’re getting the best performance.

When you weight load your vehicle, the rear will typically sag down. You will inflate the bags with sufficient air to bring the rear back up to a level ride height / stance.

By doing this you will find that the comfort and handling will be at its best, and importantly the extra load is being shared across all suspension components and not point loading on one individual part of the suspension.

Under load, a BOSS Load Assist Kit improves the stability and overall handling of a vehicle.
